One of our favorite photographers and brand ambassadors Florencia Lucila photographed our latest mini lookbook while traveling through the towns of Morocco. She brought with her The Modern Tribe and The Modern Indigo and shot them in North Morocco from the heart of the Medina in Fez all the way to a Riad in Chefchaouen.
Her style is all her own and her ability to bring such vision to our brand continues to amaze me.
Below is a small excerpt of Florencia’s journey:
“I traveled around the north of Morocco, flew to Tangier where I spent a few nights.
While I was there I took a train to the coast of Tangier, and I went to Asilah, a beach town 40km away from Tangier. From there I caught a bus to Chefchaouen, a town in the mountains in the north of Morocco. I spent a few nights there exploring and sleeping in different locations and after that I went to Fez.
Fez is a big city compared to the other towns I explored, but I spent the majority of time in the Medina, where I was staying
After that my friend left and I stayed in Fez alone. I took a train from Fez back to Tangier for 7 hours. To get home, I caught a ferry that takes you from Africa to Tarifa, Spain. Once I arrived back to my country (Spain), I drove to a natural park located in the South of Spain called “Cabo de Gata” . That was my last destination in which I stayed for a couple of days before returning to Barcelona.
Hope you guys enjoyed this beautiful lookbook, all done on with film a 35mm, still my favorite form of photography.
Florencia Lucila is so talented.
We have never met but some how I understand her taste and she understands mine.
